Slime Climb, Releasing Soon!


Hello, 
I'm J.P., the sole developer behind Slime Climb! It's been a heck of a learning experience, but I'm pleased with the end result. The project stemmed from an idea that I had while viewing a "Perfectly Cut Screams" compilation, as someone fell in a videogame while the character's meter coincidentally went up. This put the idea of "meter goes up as you fall," into my head, and shortly after, the root ideas for Slime Climb were formed. So, in addition to the standard wall jumping, one of the key elements is having to climb up one area so you can jump down and bounce up to another. After my last IT contract wrapped up, I hammered out the final phases of development, and am proud to present my first game to all of you!

Slime Climb is an approachable challenge-platformer where you play as a bouncy slime, who has to climb their way out of an alchemist's lair on a dark and stormy night. The intent was to try and strike a blend between practicability and actually having to think and pay attention. I think I found a decent middle ground, as I can 100% the game in around 30-40mins, but all of my playtesters took over an hour to finish the game on their first playthroughs; some failing to 100% the game as well.
